Shea is the butter extracted from the African Karite Nut. Shea Butter has become an important element in healthy skincare programs due to it's abundance of vitamins and unique fatty acid profile. It has an established role in traditional native African apothecary. Our organic Shea Butter is extracted mechanically, not chemically. It retains it's rich vitamins and naturally smoke scent. We obtain our Shea Butter in bulk through a Fair-Trade program. We whip it soft at high speeds to it's soft silky consistencey. We add no other ingredients or scent, it is pure organic shea butter at it's best. It is an intensive treatment for cuticles, dry facial lines, chapped lips, minor cuts and burns, and extremely tough dry skin spots. Just a touch is needed, a litte goes a long way. Net wt 2 oz.
